THE EVENT
You are invited to attend two moon rituals led by Paul Robeson Galleries former Artist in Residence, the artist Eleven. These ceremonies will consist of guided meditation, moments for relaxation, performative elements, and an open microphones Historically, the phases of the Moon have been associated with physical or psychological change or transformation. As the Spring Semester begins, it is a perfect time to take a moment to gather one’s thoughts, and focus the future, and meditate on what is truly important in one’s life.
THE ARTIST
Eleven Muldrow was the Paul Robeson Galleries Artist in Residence in 2023. The exhibition titled, Here the Ceremony Begins, consists of work made during her residency. This exhibition is on display at the Paul Robeson Campus Center Gallery until April 4. 2024.
THE RESIDENCY
Since 2017 PRG has been providing a dedicated residency program for artists and writers, with allocated workspace for creatives, and opportunities to engage with the public through programs and exhibitions.
