The third show of theseries The Landscape Interpreted, this exhibition is concerned with the recording of a specific time and a specific place. The artists in this exhibition have approached the issues of the landscape with a contemporary perspective. The intentions of the artists are not all similar, yet all of the work remains within the tradition of realism. Includes the work of Rackstraw Downes, Joellyn Duesberry, Peter Homitzky, Simeon Lagodich, Peter Loftus, John Moore, Fairfield Porter, Susan Shatter, James Weidle,andGeorge Wexler.This exhibition is accompanied by a catalog with contributions by Alison Weld and Stuart White.
