Galicia: An ancient kingdom of water and stone studded with dolmens and “castros,” cloven by ten thousand rivers and beaten by ocean winds. It is a land inhabited by age-old races that speak their own language, the origin of Portuguese. This exhibition celebrates the Galicians’ important rolein the making of the American Nations. Presented in collaboration with the Spanish Consulate in New York.This exhibition is accompanied by a catalog.
